Ricardo Inglez de Souza is the head of the competition, compliance, product liability and international trade practices areas at Inglez Werneck Advogados and has extensive experience advising national and multinational companies. He holds a Master's degree and is a PhD student at PUC-SP and is the author of the book "The Dogma of the Cartel and the Selectivity of Brazilian Competition Law".
He is praised by the main national and international legal rankings, including Chambers and Partners, Latin Lawyer, Who's Who Legal, LACCA, Best Lawyers and Análise Advocacia. He was selected as one of the world’s 40 best competition lawyers under 40 (40 under 40), by the Global Competition Review (GCR), an industry reference.
He is currently vice-president of the Commission for Studies on Competition and Economic Regulation of the Brazilian Bar Association (OAB-SP) and a member of the Brazilian Institute of Studies on Competition, Consumption and International Trade (IBRAC).
He is a professor of Commercial Law at Fundação Armando Álvares Penteado (FAAP) and at the Catolica Universidad de Chile, and also a visiting professor at several other universities.

Jorge Gutiérrez Chamlati is the head of the Corporate and Mergers & Acquisitions practice groups with Inglez Werneck Advogados. He has large experience in multi-jurisdictional deals and corporate restructurings. Graduated from the Instituto Tecnológico y de Estudios Superiores de Occidente (ITESO) in Mexico, he specialized in the Legal Regime of International Business at the Escuela Libre de Derecho, in Mexico City, and is licensed to practice law in both Brazil and Mexico.
He worked as a foreign associate at a renowned international law firm in Madrid, Spain, and was a partner at one of the largest Brazilian law firms, where he worked for 21 years. Since 2017, he is the legal director of at the Mexican Chamber of Commerce (Câmara Mexicana) in São Paulo.
Fluent in Portuguese, Spanish, and English, he provides comprehensive advisory services in the corporate field to executives, board members and investors, focusing on corporate governance, complex negotiations and conflict resolution. In the M&A field he is focused on a multidisciplinary approach, advising sellers and buyers, coordinating due diligence, acting on pre and post-transaction negotiations, and drafting and reviewing contracts.
